This morning at Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, while standing outside around 7:40AM waiting for the free bus, Old Doc observed a homeless trio get off of an arriving SKIP. As it was after 7:30AM, they could not get into BSH for morning services (which end at 8AM, anyway).

In re the registered sex offenders at Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, most of whom are felony child molesters: I’ve been assured by Gina Barajas, Volunteer Manager at BSH, that the orientation given to all volunteers there includes some discussion of “resident profile”, and that any children who accompany adult volunteers must be at least [...]

I hadn’t wanted to look it up myself, thinking that ignorance is bliss, but something told me that it’s much worse than I feared at Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, 4869 N. Broadway:

This morning around 8:30AM, as is my weekday habit, I arrived at the Main Library at 1001 Arapahoe to sit out front and read the Daily Camera print edition, while waiting for the library to open to the public at 10AM.
